Objective: To describe the functional sequelae in patients who presented some type of post-COVID-19 sequelae. Methods: Cross-sectional, analytical and descriptive study. It was carried out in the Family Medicine Unit No. 220 of the Mexican Social Security Institute in the city of Toluca, State of Mexico. Non-probabilistic sampling, a sample of 117 patients was obtained; It was carried out between the months of June to December 2021. The Post-COVID-19 Functional Status Scale (PCFS) was applied. Study approved by the Ethics and Research Committee. The data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS 26 statistical package. Results: Most representative age group: 30-40 years old (35.9%), women (67.5%). Married (59.8%). Secondary education (38.5%), high school (36.8%). Employees (76.1%). They reported hospitalization prevalence(33.3%). According to the degree of dysfunction: moderate 35%, mild 28.2%, minimal 18.8% and severe 8.5%. Main sequelae: fatigue (42.7%), neurocognitive alterations (29.1%). The result of χ2 was 0.062, wich stablishes no statistical significance of association between the two main variables. Conclusions: The initial severity of COVID-19 does not always predict sequelae that lead the patient to modify their functional status. Family physicians should consider individual factors, educate patients about the variability of sequelae, adopt a multidisciplinary approach, and continuous follow-up.
