Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data, χ² to determine the degree of association between the variables. Results: 100 patients with an average age of 60 + 11 years, male sex predominated (53%), primary education, married, housewife, normal BMI. Regarding clinical risk factors: Type 2 Diabetes (85% p = 0.049) and Systemic Arterial Hypertension (81% p = 0.016) were significantly associated with CKD.
